In an effort to collect better customer feedback, Swig, a drive-thru chain known for its dirty sodas is partnering with Ovation, a guest experience and operations platform for restaurants. Through Ovation's Crisp integration, Swig is collecting over 500 surveys per location each month.
The feedback has increased the company's average online rating by 0.1 and has helped save thousands of unhappy customers each month through a real-time chat channel between managers and guests, said Swig Chief Operating Officer Chase Wardrop.
"Swig has always been about brightening your day with our drive-thru experience,"Wardrop said in a company press release. "With Ovation, we're hearing directly from thousands of guests every day, recovering concerns in real time and ensuring our operations keep up with our growth."
Zack Oates, CEO of Ovation, said he was "thrilled to partner with Swig, a brand that is rewriting the rules of the beverage category."
"The amount of feedback Swig collects is extraordinary, and they're proving that when you listen and act quickly, you win guests for life," Oates said in the release.
Ovation's platform helps restaurants capture feedback, recover unhappy guests and use feedback to improve operations and boost online reviews. The company also partners with other restaurant chains like Dave's Hot Chicken and Mooyah.
Swig was founded in St. George, Utah, in 2010, and has over 100 locations in the U.S.
