Sweetgreen has tapped Thomas Wilder, a former partner and creative director of Collins, a communications and design firm in New York City, as its first executive creative director.

The addition allows the 105-unit brand to expand its internal creative capabilities and grow the team into a fully operational in-house agency, according to a company press release.

Wilder, who is responsible for helping to guide and shape Sweetgreen's advertising, brand strategy, packaging, online channels, store experiences and social media, has kicked off several initiatives as well as new product drops and the brand's exploration into gaming and streaming partnerships with top streamer and Youtuber, Valkyrae.
