Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen has created the Boia De Bowl in partnership with Michelin-starred Chefs Luciana Giangrandi and Alex Meyer of Boia De restaurant in Miami.
For a limited time only, customers at South Florida Sweetgreen locations may order the bowl, which features Puttanesca dressing, arugula, shredded kale, stracciatella, roasted tomatoes, olives, lemony asparagus, za'atar bread crumbs and blackened chicken, according to a company press release.
Making its appearance last February, at a private event held at Sweetgreen's Wynwood location during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, the Boia De Bowl debuted to rave reviews, with guests requesting it at local stores and inspiring the LTO, according to Chief Concept Officer Nicolas Jammet
"Sweetgreen and Boia De connect over a shared food ethos and desire to bring customers deliciously unique dishes made from elevated and thoughtfully sourced ingredients," he said in the release. "We're excited for our guests to experience this craveable bowl created by two of our favorite chefs in the country."
Previously, Sweetgreen has collaborated with other chefs, including David Chang, founder of Momofuku restaurant group, Blue Hill Chef Dan Barber and Chef Nancy Silverton.
