September 9, 2021

Sweetfin, a California-inspired poke concept, is opening its 13th unit Saturday in Costa Mesa, which is its first in Orange County, according to a company press release.

Sweetfin debuted six years ago in Santa Monica with a commitment to creating a culinary experience that is fresh and accessible. Its culinary philosophy is centered around the "Pole to Bowl" ethos, which means that in sourcing fish, the brand uses the highest-quality and most sustainable raw fish possible, Managing Partner Seth Cohen said in the press release.

"We are excited to open our first Sweetfin in Orange County and to continue our mission to fuel life through freshness," he said. "We look forward to introducing the Costa Mesa community to our unique, chef-driven take on the Hawaiiian poke bowl. We are proud to say that all of our menu items are made in-house, from scratch daily and that we source seafood as sustainably as possible."

The Costa Mesa location will feature Sweetfin's "surf-chic" interiors. Contactless ordering options such as pick-up and delivery are available via the Sweetfin Mobile App.
