Sweet Peppers Deli heads to the Carolinas

COLUMBUS, Miss. — Sweet Peppers Deli has announced its entrance into the North and South Carolina markets.
 
Three counties recently were purchased by Tabitha Poteat and Christopher Borders of Charlotte, N.C.-based Peppers Delta East Inc. York County, S.C., will be the first development for Poteat and Borders with an opening date of late summer or early fall 2008. The deli will total 3,500 square feet and seat approximately 128 guests. The North Carolina counties of Mecklenburg and Cabarrus will be the next developed by Poteat and Borders.
 
Sweet Peppers Deli features a menu of salads, soups, signature sandwiches, panini and wraps and offers a combination of counter and table service. Customers enter the restaurant and place their order at the front counter, then receive full service from the wait staff once they are seated.
