Sweet Pepper Deli adds Miss. location

COLUMBUS, Miss. — The newest franchise for Sweet Peppers Deli opened its doors in Laurel, Miss., with proceeds from the restaurant's opening party going to benefit the Hamasa Shriner's Transportation Fund. The fund helps the organization transport local children and families to the Shriner's Hospital for care.

There are 12 Sweet Peppers Deli restaurants located in the Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee regions. Before the end of 2008, locations are scheduled to open in Gulf Shores, Ala.; Fort Mills, S.C. and Gulf Port, Miss.
