Super Bowl Sunday breaks Wingstop sales record

DALLAS – Wingstop Restaurants broke its all-time single-day sales record on Super Bowl Sunday. The chain sold three million chicken wings systemwide at their more than 280 locations.

In 2006, the company sold 2.5 million wings on game day. In addition to their record-breaking single-day sales, the company is on target to sell its one-billionth wing sometime in mid-2007.
