Stroud's Express partners with Paytronix for contactless payments, rewards

Patronix Systems Inc., a digital guest experience platform provider, has partnered with restaurant management group KC Hopps to deploy its Order and Delivery service to two takeout-only locations of Stroud's Express. The brand is an offshoot of the original Stroud's, a Kansas City chain that began in 1933, according to a press release.

Stroud's Express, located in Lee's Summit, Missouri and Mission, Kansas does not have a dining room and instead offers curbside, carryout and delivery. The Paytronix service offers digital menu and contactless ordering for Stroud's Express.

"Within a month and a half, we had Paytronix Order and Delivery up and running companywide," Bethany Neal, VP of sales, marketing and technology, KC, said in the release. "The Paytronix Order and Delivery team was great with the integration. It's a user-friendly product and it gave us something exciting to talk to our guests about in a really hard year for our industry."

With the Paytronix platform, guests can also earn points and redeem them for free appetizers, entrees and desserts.
