Fazoli's has marked its 17th straight month of same-store sales.

Fazoli's franchisees reported a 4.9-percent jump in August same-store sales. It was the 17th straight month of increases.
So far this year, same-store franchise restaurant sales are up 5.6 percent.
Fazoli's franchisees saw guest counts increase 2.8 percent last month. Average check grew 2.1 percent. For the year, traffic is up 1.9 percent, with average check 3.6 percent higher.
"Fazoli's franchisees are giving guests a great experience and outstanding value every day, and that is being reflected in their traffic and sales," said Carl Howard, Fazoli's president and CEO, in a company press release. He added that franchisees, which own approximately half of the brand's locations, are helping Fazoli's achieve guest service and value ratings that also rank above its competitors.
Current franchisees have reported same store-sales increases for 50 of the last 53 months, and more than one-third of the franchisees set historic annual unit volumes over the last year, according to the release. Fazoli's recently signed a deal for two new units in Kentucky, as well as an agreement with World Franchise Associates to secure franchise development in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
