CARY, N.C. — Strategic Restaurant Acquisitions Corp., a fast-food company focused on franchise development and acquisition, has invested in Bear Rock Cafe. The amount of investment was not disclosed.
According to a news release, SRAC's investment will be used to strengthen and further develop the Bear Rock brand, which will include a menu evolution in early 2007.
"We're very excited to be a part of Bear Rock," said Jerry Comstock, SRAC chief executive. "Bear Rock Cafe's unique offering positions it as distinctive in the quick casual segment."
Bear Rock Cafe is a fast-casual restaurant with an upscale mountain lodge atmosphere featuring a chef-created menu with a wide variety of fresh, hand-crafted sandwiches, garden-fresh salads, oven-fresh breads, hot-and-savory soups, baked potatoes and an assortment of gourmet desserts.
