The second Sticky’s Finger Joint is set to open in New York City June 19 at 33rd St. and 3rd Ave. in Murray Hill. Founding partners Paul Abrahamian and Jon Sherman opened the first location on West 8th St. at Washington Square West in March of 2012, and the Murray Hill location marks the second of a planned expansion across the New York City market, according to a news release.
The new Sticky’s will include more than 10 varieties of the original chicken finger, fresh salads, sandwiches and homemade sauces. Sticky 2’s menu choices include the French Onion Supreme, Cool Curry Tikka Masala, Salted Caramel Pretzel and General Sticky Tso. In addition, the store will serve chicken finger sandwiches like Nashville Numb, the Sticky Greek Salad, Bacon Mac Fries and Cajun Rooster Fries.
Sticky’s 2 was designed by Scott Kester and features red and black accents including a black-and-red checkerboard ceiling and red neon signs. Sticky’s also hired graffiti artist Jon Lavoie to create a one-of-a-kind mural, the release said.
