Starbucks to open in Alaska airport

Global restaurateur HMSHost has partnered with Fairbanks International Airport to open a Starbucks, which is officially the coffee giant's northernmost Starbucks in an airport.

Global restaurateur HMSHost has partnered with Fairbanks International Airport to open a Starbucks, which is officially the coffee giant's northernmost Starbucks in an airport.

"We are very excited about opening this Starbucks and marking these momentous 'firsts,' with our partner Fairbanks International Airport," said HMSHost VP of Business Development Stephen Douglas. "HMSHost has a longstanding partnership with Starbucks in airports throughout North America, and we are very excited for the opportunity to partner with Fairbanks to bring the world’s favorite coffee to even the most northern travelers."

HMSHost operates in 116 airports around the globe with the addition of this new partnership with Fairbanks International Airport.
