Starbucks promotes Culver, Conway, Burns to leadership roles

Starbucks Corp. has promoted John Culver, who has led the international division for 15 years, to group president, North America, according to a press release. In addition, the company has promoted Michael Conway from chief operating officer to group president, international and channel development, and Michelle Burns, a 26-year Starbucks veteran, to executive vice president, global coffee, tea and cocoa.

These changes are effective as of June 28, 2021.

The promotions were announced by Kevin Johnson, president and chief executive officer.
