Starbucks, Lyft giving free rides to the polls

As part of its goal to encourage voting this year, Starbucks is s providing all U.S. employees a free one-way Lyft ride up to $75, to the polls to vote, volunteer as a poll worker or drop off a ballot at a post office, ballot box or other official ballot drop location between now and Nov. 3.,

This news builds Starbucks plan, announced in August, to support its partners on their journey to vote, and to ensure no partner will have to choose between working their shift or voting on or before Election Day. The free ride is another step toward making this year's election more accessible for partners and supporting their civic engagement, regardless of barriers.
