Starting Feb. 17, Starbucks will offer coconut milk in all its U.S. locations. Starbucks coconut milk is certified vegan and made from single-origin coconuts from the tropical Indonesian island of Sumatra.
Coconut milk fans advocated for the addition via the My Starbucks Idea Blog. The idea received 84,000 votes on the blog.
Pieology is also making an addition to its menu at some outlets: vegan mozzarella cheese from Daiya Foods. The vegan offering will be available at the following Pieology locations: Tucson, Arizona (Speedway); Azusa, California; Berkeley, California; Carson, California; City of Industry, California (Puente Hills East); Chino, California; Culver City, California – opening soon; Encino, California; Fremont, California; Fullerton, California; Gilroy, California; Irvine, California (Marketplace); Irvine, California (Spectrum); Lakewood, California; Northridge, California (University Plaza); Pasadena, California; Rancho Cucamonga, California; Redlands, California; San Jose, California; Thousand Oaks, California; Torrance, California; Upland, California; Valencia, California; Walnut, California; Westlake Village, California – opening soon; Clackamas, Oregon; Portland, Oregon (Grant Park); Tigard, Oregon (Washington Square); Tualatin, Oregon (Nyberg Rivers).
Through Feb. 15, Nestlé Toll House Cafés across the country are pairing their signature Cherry Hot Chocolate with specially designed heart-shaped cookies and other cherry-filled menu items.
Fatburger announced the addition of its Thousand Island Burger and a Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Milkshake to its menu through May 1.
Just in time for Lent, Newk’s Eatery announced the addition of three new seafood entrees. The Ahi Tuna Sandwich, Ahi Tuna Salad and Shrimp and Avocado Salad will be available Feb. 16 through mid-May in nearly 80 Newk’s restaurants.
