Stacy Peterson, Wingstop's former chief revenue and technology officer whoannounced last week that she was leaving the Dallas-based company, will serve as CEO of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. She'll start the role next month at the Ohio-based brand and will relocate to Columbus in 2023, according to a company press release.
During her nine-year Wingstop tenure, which included stints as chief experience officer and chief digital and technology officer, the company grew from 550 restaurants to 1,900.
"I'm excited to join Team Jeni's and help carry on their commitment to making better ice creams and bringing people together," Peterson said in a statement. "What Jeni created, with quality as the company's north star and a tremendous focus on customer experience and a team commitment to be a force for good, will continue to be what differentiates this company from our competition."
Peterson is replacing John Lowe, who said in June that he was leaving the role after 13 years but will remain on the company's board.
