STACKED: Food Well Built is opening a fourth location and has chosen The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks, Calif., as its home.
Created around the vision of industry veterans Paul Motenko and Jerry Hennessy, STACKED begins with a high-quality menu featuring America's favorite foods, and utilizes proprietary tabletop technology to let diners custom design their meals, while also giving them total control over when they order and pay, according to a company press release.
At STACKED, guests design their orders in a create-your-own menu format choosing among dozens of ingredients with a swipe of a finger on iPads located at each table, or select from creative signature items built around flavors from across the world. The menu features burgers, pizzas, salads, and mac 'n' cheese, plus appetizers, shakes, desserts, and a full bar featuring a wide selection of quality wines, craft beers and specialty cocktails.
The new restaurant will seat around 200 guests in its 4,500-square-foot building plus two patio areas.
