Spoon Me opens franchise location in Calgary

Spoon Mefrozen yogurt has expanded into Canada with its first location in Calgary, Alberta.The Calgary Spoon Me pushes the total number of operating stores to 11 spanning Arizona, Utah, Idaho and now Alberta, and opens the door for otherpotential franchiseesin Canada.

Spoon Me is planning to continue growth across Western Canada with several more stores on course to open in 2010.

"I was drawn to Spoon Me because of its fun atmosphere and excellent frozen yogurt but its mission is what inspired me to open a store," said Jeff Hansen, owner of the Calgary Spoon Me. "The idea of loving yourself, your community and your world is what makes this franchise unique and something I wanted to be a part of."

Spoon Me's three-fold mission is to care for the body we live in, the people we live with and the earth we live on.
