Spicy Pickle set to tackle L.A.

January 16, 2008

DENVER — Spicy Pickle has announced it has sold a multiunit restaurant-development agreement to a franchisee in Los Angeles, bringing the total number of franchises the company has sold to 113. The agreement calls for the opening of three L.A. restaurants, with the first Spicy Pickle set to open downtown. The agreement joins a San Diego development plan for 12 locations there and sets the stage for Southern California expansion, said Marc Geman, chief executive of Spicy Pickle Franchising Inc.
The new franchisee is an instructor at the California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu Program in Pasadena.
