Spicy Pickle opens two Bread Garden Urban Cafes in Vancouver

January 31, 2010

Spicy Pickle Franchising Inc. has opened two new Bread Garden Urban Cafes in downtown Vancouver, Canada, according to a release. The two new restaurants, along with a third that opened on Whistler Mountain in the late summer 2009, bring the total to 15 franchised Bread Garden Urban Cafes operating in British Columbia.

The restaurants will all have extremely high visibility during the Winter Olympics, which will begin in Vancouver Feb. 12, 2010.

"The downtown locations are in a very densely populated and highly trafficked area of Vancouver," Marc Geman, CEO of Spicy Pickle Franchising, said. "And while we expect the Olympics to be a boost to sales, we are here for the long term and believe these new restaurants will perform very well after the Olympics. Additionally, we are in the final stages of opening more Bread Gardens early this year end will make announcements about that shortly."
