SoundHound AI and Acrelec are partnering to bring advanced, voice-enabled drive-thru systems to restaurants worldwide by integrating SoundHound's Dynamic Drive-Thru voice AI with Acrelec's content management system and digital signage enclosure. Customers may place orders seamlessly through an automated voice assistant, which then sends requests directly to the point-of-sale system.

Michael Lauricella, VP of channel partnerships at SoundHound AI, said the partnership will help brands modernize the drive-thru and deliver "seamless, future-ready experiences."

Chloe Bisiaux, the director of Innovation & Marketing at Acrelec, said the partnership will empower clients with "sophisticated AI solutions" to help manage labor shortages and operational demands.

Acrelec, a subsidiary of Glory LTD, has over 25,000 drive-thru installations globally and powers customer experiences for brands, including McDonald's and Dunkin.' The company supports more than 80,000 technology deployments worldwide, including kiosks and self-checkout systems.

SoundHound's voice AI technology is deployed in over 10,000 restaurant locations, with solutions for phone, drive-thru, kiosk and other devices.
