Sonoma Chicken Coop lands in New York

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Fast casual chain Sonoma Chicken Coop has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with business partners Mitchell Segal and Golan Zinger and their company, New York Dining Group BH Inc. The group will bring an initial five units to Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Kings and Richmond counties in New York, and an additional three restaurants in markets to be determined.
Segal and Zinger are currently searching for potential sites and plan to have their initial location open by the end of the first quarter of 2009.
Sonoma Chicken Coop has secured three additional multi-unit franchise deals to open eight restaurants in California and three in New Jersey. SCC expects to have two units open in Northern California and one in Northern New Jersey by early 2009.
Sonoma Chicken Coop serves pizza, pasta, entrée salads, sandwiches on house-made bread, steaks, ribs, fish, chef quality appetizers, desserts and their famous rotisserie chicken. All items are made to order.
The company currently operates three locations in California.
