Software update to help restaurants manage food costs

August 2, 2018

Orderly, a company that applies data science to food cost management, has released a software update to give restaurant operators more accurate information about the weekly cost of goods as well as losses due to waste and theft issues.

"We know that restaurant operators have enough to worry about without spending endless hours managing inventory or running complicated software," CEO of Orderly Bill Jones, said in the release.

In addition to capturing operational data, Orderly enables restaurant owners to compare pricing for like ingredients by its suppliers, allowing each restaurant to determine if it is getting the best price, according to the release.
