SocialEats OnTheGo expanding to 4th location

Los Angeles-based SocialEats, K2 Restaurants' food hall and dining collective, is opening a fourth OnTheGo location in San Diego at 1037 Garnet Ave.
Scheduled to open late spring 2021, SocialEats OnTheGo San Diego will open with five restaurant concepts, Pop!s Burgers & Shakes — recently named one of Fast Casual's Brand to Watch — Azule Taqueria, Supertoro, Street Noods, and Hollywood Crab Shack.
"The demand for our SocialEats OnTheGo locations has grown with both consumers and retail spaces since we launched our first concept in Hollywood last year." John Kolaski, owner of K2 Restaurants, said in a company press release. "Modifying the traditional food hall model of our first SocialEats in Santa Monica to function as a single unit, multi-concept outpost has become an operation that meets the current challenges of the food industry and allows us to expand to new markets quickly. We've always been a fan of San Diego's food scene and look forward to joining the neighborhood near Pacific Beach Pier."
The San Diego location will offer no-contact pickup and free in-house delivery through SocialEats Good Eats Delivered program on orders over $15, an offering that's available at all SocialEats locations via ordersocialeats.com.
Customers may combine items from any restaurant in one order, eliminating the need to place separate orders from each concept at checkout. Limited capacity for indoor dining and patio seating will also be available, along with third- party delivery options on Postmates, UberEats and Grubhub and Doordash.
The concept has two locations in the Greater Los Angeles area and one location in Orange County.
