Smoothie King secures investment from Main Post Partners

Smoothie King has landed a minority growth investment from Main Post Partners, a private equity firm specializing in consumer brands, said Wan Kim, CEO and majority shareholder of Smoothie King.
Main Post Partners has a history of investing in high-growth franchisor concepts, including Jimmy John's, and franchisee businesses like Flynn Group.
Jeff Mills, managing partner at Main Post, expressed confidence in Smoothie King's brand strength, product offerings and commitment to guest experience, saying that the firm is eager to partner with Smoothie King's leadership and franchisees to capitalize on its "Clean Blends" menu, strong customer service and more than 1,200 locations.
Smoothie King, founded in 1973, is a Dallas-based company known for its commitment to healthful ingredients and purposeful menu innovation. It was recently ranked No. 90 in Fast Casual's Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
North Point acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Smoothie King for the transaction.
