Smoothie King Franchises unveiled its new store design with the opening of two locations in South Florida. The stores, located at the Dolphin Mall, located at 11401 NW 12 St., in Sweetwater, Fla., and at 2202 East Oakland Park Blvd., in Ft. Lauderdale, feature the company's new logo and other visuals reinforcing the brand's purpose-driven positioning and a comfortable seating area, according to a company press release.
"This is an exciting time in Smoothie King's history as we unveil a new look for our reenergized brand. The new store design demonstrates our leading position in the smoothie category and positions us to realize the aggressive growth strategy I've challenged my team to achieve over the next five years," said Smoothie King Global CEO Wan Kim. "We've already received positive feedback from customers at our Oakland Park location since opening earlier this month. I look forward to joining our team on opening day at Dolphin Mall to introduce our brand to the millions of local and international shoppers who pass through the mall each year."
The new store design immerses guests into Smoothie King's new brand positioning, said Bret Cunningham, vice president of design and construction.
"From the comfortable seating atmosphere to the ease of ordering your favorite smoothie, we're excited to unveil these new designs in the South Florida market," he said.
Smoothie King currently has 28 franchised and company-owned locations throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, with seven additional units planned to open over the next year. The company is targeting 30-40 more stores throughout South Florida over the next few years.
