Smoothie King reported strong growth and strategic menu expansion in the third quarter of 2025. It secured 32 store commitments in Q3, including multi-unit deals in New York, which will introduce the brand's first traditional Manhattan store. First-time franchisees accounted for 55% of signings this quarter, according to a press release.
The brand also entered Utah and Minnesota with store openings in Washington, Utah, and Woodbury, Minnesota. Additionally, Smoothie King expanded its presence at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport with locations in Terminal A and Terminal D, bringing its total DFW presence to three locations.
Following a pilot program in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Smoothie King rolled out its Power Eats menu nationwide across all 1,200-plus stores in Q3. The menu features high-protein food options designed to complement the brand's smoothies.
"This quarter showcases the continued strength of our incredible franchise community and the exciting momentum driving the Smoothie King brand," Gavin Felder, president and CFO, said in the release. "From entering new markets to bringing bold innovation to our menu, we're growing in ways that matter — expanding our reach while keeping our purpose at the heart of everything we do."
Smoothie King, founded in 1973, is a Dallas-based company with over 1,200 stores nationwide.
