Smoothie King offering subscription service

provided

April 14, 2022

Smoothie King is joining brands like Panera Bread and Taco Bell by offering a subscription model.

Instead of encouraging customers to hit the drive-thru, however, Smoothie Kings' program — Nourish Daily — consists of 12 powders that customers may use as the base to their at-home smoothies. Blends include keto-friendly protein, muscle-building, vegan or immune support, and the subscription allows customers to order them mixed with a variety of flavors, such as Wild Berry, Strawberry Pineapple and Veggie Mango. Guests mix the power with their preferred liquid — water, milk or juice — in a blender. No ice is required.

"With 50 years of smoothie-making expertise, we know what blends well and tastes good together," CMO Rebecca Miller said in a company press release. "Nourish Daily saves our guests time, money and effort by giving them great-tasting purposeful smoothies straight from their freezer to blender to cup."

The smoothie subscription is available in quantities of seven for $6.99 per smoothie; 14 for $6.29 per smoothie or 21 for $5.29 per smoothie. Customers may also choose the date and time of each delivery or pick up their orders at their local store.
