Smoothie King expanding to Michigan

Smoothie King, founded in 1973, is entering the Michigan market via a deal with Franchisee Christopher Klebba, according to a company press release. 

"We are committed to making an active lifestyle attainable for people in our community, and we see a real need for an offering like Smoothie King," said Klebba, who has signed an agreement to open 50 locations throughout Michigan, three to open by the end of this year.  
 
Smoothie King plans to open more than 150 locations this year.
