Smoothie King CFO named president

Smoothie King has promoted CFO Gavin Felder as president, and he will retain his finance responsibilities as well.
"Gavin is a dynamic and visionary leader with a strong track record of driving results and building high-performing teams," Wan Kim, owner and CEO of Smoothie King, said in a company press release. "His impact over the past year has been significant, and this expanded role is a natural next step as we continue to build on our brand's success."
Felder brings more than two decades of global leadership experience to the role, including 16 years at Yum Brands, where he most recently served as chief strategy officer.
"It's a tremendous honor to step into this role as we embark on our next chapter of growth," Felder said in the release. "Smoothie King literally has all the ingredients to be the defining brand of our category, with the tastiest products backed by our Clean Blends promise and a truly unrivaled guest experience, all anchored by our inspiring mission and dynamic culture."
The announcement follows a strong first quarter for Smoothie King in 2025, which included 13 store openings and 20 store commitments. The brand recently introduced a new Hydration category featuring electrolyte-packed smoothies.
