Smashburger, a fast-casual "better burger" restaurant, is now offering its delicious Sweet Potato Smashfries and fried pickles at all 71 locations nationwide due to popular demand.
The Sweet Potato Smashfries began in Dallas as a regional item. They are a sweeter alternative to Smashburger's original Smashfries and are made with high quality sweet potatoes, tossed in rosemary, olive oil and garlic.
The fried pickles began as a topping on the Oklahoma Smashburger. Eventually, however, customers began asking for the fried pickles as a separate side item. Smashburger responded by offering them as a Smashside at select locations with a side of buttermilk ranch.
“Our fried pickles and Sweet Potato Smashfries have experienced increasing popularity, with fans across the country asking us to offer them at their local Smashburger,” said Smashburger founder Tom Ryan. “We’ve met their demand and are now offering these mouthwatering sides at every Smashburger location.”
