Smashburger opens first McAllen, Texas, location

Smashburger, a fast-casual "better burger" concept, will open its first McAllen location on March 24. The restaurant will bring 100-percent Angus burgers, an array of sides and delicious shakes to Rio Grande Valley residents.

"Burger lovers across the state of Texas are hooked on Smashburger," said Smashburger founder Tom Ryan. "We love Texas and will continue to spread the burger love to our friends in the Rio Grande Valley."
