Smashburger has added "healthier options' to its Kids meal menu, including Grilled Chicken Strips and Musselman’s Unsweetened Squeezable applesauce in a reclosable pouch with no added sugar or sodium, according to a company press release.

"We’re thrilled to introduce new better-for-you items to our kids meal menu," said Tom Ryan, co-founder and CEO. "These additions are a result of our core consumers asking for more kids meal options. We pride ourselves on having an innovative menu that is constantly evolving, so we’re extremely excited to see how our fans like our new better-for-you kids meal options."
