Smashburger helping couple wed in Vegas

Smashburger is giving one couple the opportunity to get married in Las Vegas on the auspicious date of 11/12/13, according to a company press release. Couples are encouraged to create a Vine video showing their love for burgers and each other with the hashtag #SmashWedding. (Entrants must then publish their posts to www.Facebook.com/Smashburger or Twitter @Smashburger). That's when they'll be entered to win airfare for two and a wedding officiated by "Elvis" at Smashburger in Las Vegas.

"With 11/12/13 set to be one of the last 'magic dates' on the calendar this century, and with more people than ever opting for casual weddings, we knew we had to have some fun on social media and celebrate people's love of burgers," said Stacie Lange, senior vice president of public relations, Smashburger. "We are celebrating love in a big way this year because Smashburger is a place for all occasions — and date night is certainly one of them."

The prize package includes:

• Wedding officiated by an Elvis impersonator at a Smashburger location at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 in Las Vegas.
• Ceremonial "smash" of a Smashburger in the kitchen by the couple.
• Multitier Smashburger "wedding cake," constructed completely out of actual Smashburgers.
• Lunch reception, featuring Smashburger's signature entrees, sides, Häagen-Dazs milkshakes and Joseph James Brewing Company's craft brews for the winning couple.
• Bouquet for the bride and boutonniere for the groom made from flowers, burgers and fries.
• Roundtrip limousine transportation.
• Two nights of accommodations in the Bally's Jubilee Tower suites
• Couples' Massage at Bally's Las Vegas Spa Two tickets to "Jubilee!"

Smashburger is currently accepting video entries published to Smashburger's Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #SmashWedding for this contest. Submissions will be accepted until Oct. 25, and the winning couple will be notified by Nov. 1.
