Smashburger expands to Northglenn, Colo.

June 16, 2009

DENVER — Smashburger has announced it is opening its doors in Northglenn, Colo., on June 27, marking the state's 11th location and the 17th for the brand overall.

Smashburger is a Denver-based concept launched and funded by concept-development firm Consumer Capital Partners (CCP).

"Coloradans have overwhelmingly welcomed Smashburger as a reprieve from ordinary burgers," said Scott Crane, president of Smashburger. "We introduced Smashburger more than two years ago, and we've seen incredible growth and success in Colorado and several other states. We're well on our way to being Colorado's favorite burger place."

According to the chain's Twitter page, the company expects to open seven additional locations over the next two months.
