Smashburger expands into Ft. Collins, Colo.

DENVER, Colo. — Ft. Collins, Colo., will become home to the first Smashburger expansion outside of Denver. Smashburger, launched by private equity and concept development firm Consumer Capital Partners, will open the location Sept. 26.

This latest Smashburger opening will be one of eight the company plans to open in Colorado by the end of the year. Expansion plans in 2008 also include bringing the concept to Texas and Kansas for a total of 12 to 15 stores open by the end of the year.

The approximately 1,900-square-foot store features large windows and a patio area with seating that overlooks the Pads at Harmony courtyard.
