Smashburger expanding Jersey footprint

Smashburger is continuing its Jersey expansion by opening its newest restaurant Jan. 22 at 1120 White Horse Road in Voorhees, N.J. Voorhees Smashburger owns the new unit and has hired 55 local team members. It also plans to open 15 restaurants throughout Southern New Jersey and South Philadelphia over the next four years, according to a company press release.

"We are excited to continue our Camden County expansion with the opening of our new Smashburger location in Voorhees," said David Damato, vice president of operations, Voorhees Smashburger LLC. "We recently opened a location in Cherry Hill, which was well received by the community. By offering high-quality and delicious burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, tossed salads and more using the freshest ingredients, we anticipate a similar reception in the Voorhees area."
