Smashburger debuts Raspberry Sorbet Shake

October 2, 2013

Smashburger has unveiled a limited-time only Raspberry Sorbet Shake to benefit Susan G. Komen and in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The new shake, available now through Oct. 31, is hand-spun and combines Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream with Häagen-Dazs Raspberry Sorbet, according to a company press release.

It retails nationwide for $4.49, with 40 cents of each donated to Komen.

"Komen has made it their mission to work hard every day towards discovering and delivering the cures for breast cancer and we are pleased to help support this important cause," said Dave Prokupek, CEO and chairman of Smashburger. "Our Häagen-Dazs shakes are a favorite among customers at Smashburger and now guests can enjoy our delicious limited time Raspberry Sorbet Shake while making a contribution to a great organization. To help in the fight against breast cancer, Smashburger has committed to donating a minimum of $25,000 to Komen this fall."

In support of the limited-time promotion, all Smashburger employees will wear a Komen pin in honor of Komen's mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Each Raspberry Sorbet Shake is served with a matching pink straw and customers have the opportunity to make their own donation to Komen online at www.komen.org/smashburger.
