Colorado-based Smashburger is teaming up with Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams to promote its latest menu extension — wings. In honor of his jersey number, 33, the chain is giving customers 33% off wings every Thursday through Dec 15.

"Smashburger is always keeping an eye out for opportunities of innovation and wanted to put a particular emphasis on food that travels well and brings people together in times of celebration," according to an email from a Smashburger spokesperson. After three years in the making, Smashburger's new wings have launched just in time for football season."

Smashburger's Senior Manager of Culinary Innovation Chef Ty Goerke and his team developed the wings, which come in Buffalo, BBQ, Scorchin' Hot, Garlic Rosemary or plain. Each order comes with a side of Ranch or Blue Cheese dipping sauce.
