Smashburger blows into Windy City

Smashburger has announced yet another franchise deal, this time with Chicago caterer Food for Thought Enterprises through their development arm, Smash Illinois LLC. The deal will bring 11 Smashburger restaurants to the Chicago area.

The Smash Illinois agreement adds another state to Smashburger's national footprint and brings the number of franchise locations to more than 200.

"Chicago is a burger-loving town, and we know the Smashburger concept is going to be a huge success here," said Brian Rosen, president of Food for Thought and Smash Illinois LLC.

Smashburger also has recently announced franchise agreements for the Dallas, Utah and Midwest regions and the openings of new locations in Tulsa, Okla., and Idaho.
