Smalls Sliders to enter Tennessee

Smalls Sliders has inked its first deal for Tennessee. The multi-unit agreement will bring for units to the Knoxville metro region, according to a press release.

The deal was signed with franchisee Blake McDavid, a multi-unit franchise owner and commercial real estate investor. The first of four units is expected to open by Fall 2026.

"I was immediately drawn to the simplicity of the concept, from the focused menu and efficient design to the strong branding and smart leadership team," McDavid said in the press release. "I see a huge opportunity to introduce the Smalls experience to new communities in Tennessee, and I'm proud to be part of a brand that's building for the future. This model is built for long-term success, and I believe this concept will resonate strongly with local guests looking for high-quality food served fast and fresh."

The move marks Smalls Sliders' entry into the state. McDavid is currently in the site selection process.

The brand has more than 375 units, dubbed "Cans," open or in development across 30 states.
