Smalls Sliders growing via company-owned stores

Smalls Sliders is accelerating growth plans by developing company-owned and operated locations. The first will open in Georgia.

"Smalls Sliders has truly emerged in the QSR space," Don Crocker, chief development officer of Smalls Sliders, said in a company press release. "The development of our new company-owned Cans (locations) signifies the commitment and investment in the longevity and health of our special brand. By augmenting our franchise focus with the company expansion of our footprint in key regions, like our home state of Georgia, we aim to enhance our brand presence and solidify our pathway to being a dominant player in the QSR industry."

The company-owned initiative will incite expansion throughout Georgia and will explore development opportunities in South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee.

Smalls Sliders has locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, with a pipeline of growth set across 18 states in the Southeast and the Midwest. Likewise, Smalls Sliders has expanded its target growth markets to Utah, Colorado and Kentucky. The chain hopes to hit 40 locations by year's end. Each location features a drive-thru, walk-up window and modular buildout.
