Slim Chickens spreading wings in Northern Ireland

Arkansas-based Slim Chickens is opening in Belfast, United Kingdom, thanks to its partnership with multi-unit operators Boparan Restaurant Group and its franchise partner, J.J. The restaurant marks the brand's second location in Northern Ireland.
"We can't wait to share our original southern recipe and renowned cooked-to-order chicken tenders with more members of the community in Belfast," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "Spreading our southern hospitality and inviting atmosphere throughout the United Kingdom is so exciting and operating groups like Boparan Restaurant Group and J.J. are a prime example of whom we seek as we continue to expand."
Slim Chickens has over 225 Slim Chickens locations open and 1,100 restaurants in development.
