Slim Chickens opens in Alabama

Fayetteville, Arkansas-based Slim Chickens has opened its first unit of 2022 at 3501 Woodward Ave., in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Marking restaurant group Dixie Chicken's first Alabama location, the restaurant is its 13th Slim Chicken.

"Muscle Shoals residents will love our fresh offerings and southern comfort environment," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "Working with experienced, dedicated operating groups like Dixie Chicken will continue to help Slims grow into communities across the country – we are excited to connect with even more experienced franchise groups throughout the year."

The better-chicken brand has opened over 50 locations across the United States and the United Kingdom.
