Slim Chickens opens 2nd Tuscaloosa store

Arkansas-based Slim Chickens has added a location in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at 2520 McFarland Blvd., thanks to a deal with Heart of the South Foods.

"Opening our second location in Tuscaloosa with Heart of the South Foods is so exciting," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "As we continue to grow and serve more communities with our high-quality, cooked to order food, we are proud to work alongside seasoned multi-unit operating groups."

The better-chicken brand has opened over 160 locations across the United States and the United Kingdom.
