Alabama-based Slim Chickens has opened its first Virginia location at Liberty University in Lynchburg under the ownership of Louis Cambeletta and Duke Davis.
"College students love Slim Chickens' tasty, made-to-order meals that don't break the bank, and we are so excited that Liberty University Flames are getting Virginia's first taste of our southern comfort food," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "Now that Virginia has had a glimpse at our southern hospitality, I am confident there will be even more of a demand for our chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches across the state."
The better-chicken brand has opened more than 145 locations across the United States and the United Kingdom.
