Slim Chickens hatches in New Mexico

Fayetteville, Arkansas-based Slim Chickens has opened its first New Mexico location at 3475 East Main St., in partnership with Desert Slims. It's the first store from the multi-unit deal bringing 10 locations to New Mexico.

"Expanding into new states is such a rewarding process — we can't wait for residents in Farmington to get a taste of Slims amazing food and experience our welcoming environment," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "Desert Slims is an ideal group to open our first location in New Mexico, and we know with their operational experience, they will continue to help Slims grow into communities across the country."

The better-chicken brand has opened over 150 locations in the United States and the United Kingdom.
