Slim Chickens hatches 3rd Oklahoma location

Slim Chickens, based in Arkansas, has opened its third Oklahoma location at 12416 N.W. 10th St. under the direction of the multi-unit operator, AP Restaurant Group.

"We've been on a steady growth trajectory in Oklahoma and we're thrilled to be adding another location with AP Restaurant Group," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "Our relationship with ownership groups like this is spearheading our rapid expansion in markets across the country and in the UK, meeting the demand for our fresh fried chicken and house-made dipping sauces."

The better-chicken brand has opened nearly 200 locations in the U.S. and the U.K., with 44 opening this year, and has 1,100 restaurants in development.
