Slim Chickens adds Utah location

Mile High Chicken LLC, a Slim Chickens franchisee, opened a store this week in Herriman, Utah, marking the franchisee's 24th brick-and-mortar location. Mile High, which launched a Slim Chickens food truck in 2019, plans to eventually operate 30 physical locations with four of those opening by year's end

"We're thrilled to launch our latest Slim Chickens location in Herriman," Byron Wheeler, president and managing owner of Mile High Chicken, said in a company press release. "Opening day was a great success and Slim Chicken's commemorated the day by honoring us with the National Development of the Year recognition. We're excited to continue to expand with the brand in the future."

The Slim Chickens franchise opportunity differentiates itself with prime markets available for multi-unit development, a passionate leadership team and world-class franchisee support system, Jackie Lobdell, executive director of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in the release.

Founded in 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Slim Chickens operates 120 locations and has 500 in development.
