Slim Chickens adding to Maryland presence

Slim Chickens, a fast casual franchise featuring dine-in and drive-thru service, has added a location in Bowie, Maryland, under the direction of D&D Slims, a seasoned restaurant group, according to a company press release.

"D&D Slims are exactly the type of experienced franchise partners that we're looking for as we expand into new territories, both globally and domestically in the United States," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in the release. "We know that their new location in Bowie will be a hit."

Slim Chickens, based in Arkansas, has opened more than 130 locations across the United States, Kuwait and the United Kingdom.
